AVENA WARRANTY- NON-LIMITED EDITION ITEMS 

For Non Limited Edition Items, our default warranty period* is 2 years. We will replace any non-complimentary ring suffering a manufacturing defect of any kind within a period of 2 years free of charge.

If stock is available, the replacement item will be the same design and size as the original. If no stock is available or the design has been discontinued, the customer will be given the choice of choosing an available item of their choice of equal or greater value than the replacement.

All warranty cases will require the defective ring to be returned.

Our micron plating is designed to last a long time if the appropriate care is exercised. Our Standard Warranty on Gold and Rose Gold Plated products does not cover tarnishing. Please consider investing in a gold plating kit or implementing the recommendations outlined in our jewelry care guide, if your product continues to tarnish.

Please note that complimentary items are not covered by our warranty policy.

*This warranty policy came into effect as of 1st July 2019. For purchases made before that date, the warranty period will be as described in the product description at time of purchase.


AVENA LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY- STERLING SILVER AND PLATED GOLD ITEMS

Limited Edition Items are covered by a lifetime warranty, and we will replace any non-complimentary ring suffering from loose or chipped stones or manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the item.

This warranty does not cover any damage due to normal wear and tear, or chemical damage due to neglect of the product.

If stock is available, the replacement item will be the same design and size as the original. If no stock is available or the design has been discontinued, the customer will be given the choice of choosing an available item of their choice of equal or lesser value than the replacement.

Please note that the limited lifetime warranty does not cover tarnishing of gold plated products. There is also a maximum of 1 free replacement for products under this policy which must be claimed within 1 year of receiving the ring. Any further replacements or any replacements requested 1 year or more after receiving the ring will incur a special discounted replacement fee of 30 USD.

All warranty cases will require the defective ring to be returned.


AVENA LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY- SOLID GOLD ITEMS

Solid Gold Limited Edition Items are covered by a limited lifetime warranty, and we will repair the ring suffering from loose or chipped stones at our cost for the first occurrence. For subsequent repairs, the ring will need to be returned to our jeweller at the customer's cost. There will be no charge for the repair work.

This warranty does not cover lost stones, any damage due to normal wear and tear, or chemical damage due to neglect of the product.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for whatever reason, please email

to arrange a hassle-free return, but you must contact us within 60 days of the arrival of your package as registered by USPS or similar. Note this does not apply to solid gold items as they are made to order.

We will help you arrange a return to our domestic USA address.

We will also cover the cost of shipping :

(A) If you paid by paypal, we will refund the cost of shipping up to $20 USD;

(B) If you paid by credit card, you will receive store credit of the cost of shipping up to $20 USD.

This does not apply to free promotional items. Their shipping fee is non-refundable.

This does not apply to solid gold items.

Please note that any complimentary items associated with the purchased item being returned must be returned as well in order to obtain a full refund.

Furthermore, this policy is void for items returned without first contacting Avena Birthstones to arrange it.

CANCELLATIONS

Standard Shipping Orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours after your order is received with no cancellation fee. Expedited shipping orders may be cancelled if they have not already shipped. In order to ensure timely delivery expedited orders are fulfilled asap and we cannot guarantee that they can be cancelled once placed. They may, however, be returned for a full refund when received.

After 24 hours your order may not be cancelled. You may apply for a return when the item arrives. Note this does not apply to solid gold items as they are made to order.
